Mustangs & Horned Frogs

I officially added another mascot to my list this week. My first graduate class at SMU began on Monday night in the Lyle School of Engineering. I will utilize distance learning during the week and drive to Dallas for the Saturday class. I'm hoping that I can manage the 10:00 - 2:30 schedule (plus commute) for the foreseeable future! :) I only have 24 credit hours left to finish my Masters, so, here I go.

    wow, what are you getting a masters in? Engineering school sounds crazy.

    Hey Lauren. It's a watered down Engineering degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering. No Electrical or Aeronautical for me. :) Most of the courses pertain to my work in production operations, so I'm excited. The classes will be 15 students or less mainly comprised of defense industy between LM, Northrup, BAE, and Raytheon so I think it will be good. Hoping I will make the grades so it's free. ;)

    My first day on campus was today. Class wasn't I hope this is a positive indication of what the next year has in store. :)
