Truly French Photos

Lately, I've attempted to organize my digital photography since I never seem to print any photos. Several years ago, I discovered Blurb.com and became a fan of their photo books. Here's a few of my French favorites that I put in my most recent "Scenic" book.

Mustangs & Horned Frogs

I officially added another mascot to my list this week. My first graduate class at SMU began on Monday night in the Lyle School of Engineering. I will utilize distance learning during the week and drive to Dallas for the Saturday class. I'm hoping that I can manage the 10:00 - 2:30 schedule (plus commute) for the foreseeable future! :) I only have 24 credit hours left to finish my Masters, so, here I go.

A laptop of my own!

I've toyed with the idea of purchasing a laptop for several months and finally bit the bullet 3 weeks ago. After all my due diligence (honestly, all of my brother's due diligence to review all the specs) I decided on an HP model that we thought would be adequate for grad school, and storing all of my digital photos. I had a game plan in mind and called HP..... Thirty minutes later, I ended up with an upgraded model ..... I like to think I run a hard bargain and still feel like I got the best bang for the buck, but geesh people - that sales guy was good! I'm not big on spending money for frills, but the laptop had several color choices and I chose mocha plaid, which is not depicted well in the picture, but is very cool!
